Why steel frame construction?

Light Steel Frame (LSF) construction offers high strength-to-weight ratio allows for robust modular units that are easy to transport and assemble. Its compatibility with off-site production methods helps reduce waste, and steel itself is highly sustainable, being 100% recyclable. The material’s durability ensures high resistance to fire as steel is non-combustible and can be treated with fireproof coatings to enhance safety further.

These features, combined with its ability to withstand seismic forces and high winds, make steel frame construction a cost-effective, versatile, and reliable solution for a wide range of buildings. We work closely with trusted entities who specialize in steel frame construction, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from design to delivery.

Durable

Light Steel Frame modules are crafted with precision and adhere to strict quality standards. We collaborate with entities that are certified to meet globally recognized benchmarks, including EN ISO 9001:2015, EN 1090-1:2009+A1:2011, and EN ISO 3834-2:2005.

These certifications ensure the highest standards in quality management, structural integrity, and welding reliability, both in factory settings and on installation sites.

With meticulous control over production conditions, methods, and individual unit inspections, each module achieves a consistent level of exceptional quality, resulting in a robust product that is easy to transport and install.

Robust seismic performance

Steel frame construction is inherently well-suited for seismic resilience due to the material’s strength, flexibility, and ability to dissipate energy under stress. This solution meets the European standards for earthquake-resistant structures (EN 1998 Eurocode 8), ensuring compliance with rigorous safety requirements.

Advanced engineering techniques enable our partners to design steel frames that effectively resist horizontal forces and adapt to local terrain and seismic conditions. Through precise calculations, testing, and innovative structural connections, steel frame structures maintain stability and integrity during earthquakes, providing a durable and reliable solution in seismically active areas

Fire resistant

The steel frame structures we provide comply with European Fire Safety standards. Steel framing is non-combustible, offering excellent inherent fire resistance.

The load-bearing steel components, including floors, ceilings, and walls, have been tested for fire resistance in accordance with the EN 13501-2:2016 standard.

Certified with REI60 fire resistance, these steel elements are designed to maintain their structural integrity for at least 60 minutes under fire conditions, ensuring enhanced safety and protection for both the building and its occupants.

Sustainable

Steel is widely recognized for its sustainability, as it is one of the most recycled materials in the world. Even after being recycled multiple times, it retains its strength and key properties.

With its complete recyclability and minimal waste generated on-site, steel is considered one of the most environmentally friendly building materials.

The steel manufacturers we collaborate with adhere to the European standard for sustainable and environmental management, EN ISO 14001:2015, ensuring a commitment to responsible and eco-conscious practices.
